Situated in the small fishing village of Seahouses with possibly the best views in the area, Springwood Guest House offers a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable spacious rooms and a very warm welcome.

We are in a secluded position with lovely gardens and have lots of safe private parking. We designed the house to allow each bedroom window to capture fabulous views of castle, coast and Cheviot Hills.

Delicious breakfasts using our own free range eggs and whenever possible local produce, make for an excellent start to your day ahead - special diets are catered for.

Guests are welcome to walk around our fields where many species of bird and wildlife can be seen so pack your camera and binoculars!

We also offer use of the Ocean Club leisure centre facilities, in the village, comprising of swimming pool, spa facilities and gym facilities.

The local services

Seahouses village and harbour are only five minutes walk away where boat trips can be taken to see the famous grey seal colony and the Farne Islands on a daily basis. Although 'Springwood' is quite secluded, shops,cafes,bars and beach, are all within easy walking distance.

An ideal base to see Northumbria at it's best, with it's Heritage coastline, fine castles and wonderful countryside and there is the newly opened Alnwick Gardens only twenty minutes away.

Newcastle and the Metro Centre (Europe's largest shopping mall) are 50 minutes drive, whilst the Scottish Borders are only thirty miles north of Seahouses.

You'll find the whole area boasts many activities including diving, fishing, golfing, windsurfing, sailing, horse riding and best of all.... relaxing !
